PROTECTING STUDENT INFORMATION
Prospect students are provided with a FERPA Consent to Release Financial Aid Information form. The student may provide information on persons and agencies they authorize to receive information on them from their financial aid records. They may also provide authorization that no one is to receive information from their financial aid records. Students calling in must authenticate their identity by providing their date of birth and the last 4 digits of their social security number before financial aid information is released over the phone. Persons and agencies calling in to receive information from the student’s financial aid records must be listed on the student’s financial aid FERPA form and must provide required identifiers listed on the form to authenticate their identity.
